JG what up? posting at 11:52pm? Meg never posts that late! i am so pleased! i checked your blog just before leaving work and i was sad to see nothing. now, as i am finishing dinner and heading to bed shortly, there are surprises! yeah! thanks for the long narrative and pictures! it makes those of us far away not feel so far away! lucy does not really look all that happy at picture time! how is she reacting to her baby brother? she is officially a big sister now! love the name!john's brother's middle name is edmund, kinda a different twist on ed. and cornelius? where did that come from? sounds like a family name and not really all that common either. nice. congratulations again! hugs and kisses!
Meg - what wonderful pictures and a great description of your experience. It makes me so excited to go through that on my own in the next couple weeks. How wonderful. Blessings to you all!
Peg, Cornelius was my father's father's name. Edward was Joel's father's father's name. It wasn't the original plan to stick with the grandparents in that way, but it just worked out! And as a bonus, Cornelius kinda rhymes with Gus... so you can call him that if you like. (We do!) :)

Congratulations! We are so happy that Eddie, aka Gus, decided to come out on his own! Good luck to the new family! Bree
